Sony VW50 Projector Review - Warranty

Sony's warranty is about average for higher end home theater projectors.

Sony provides a 2 year parts and labor warranty on the Sony VPL-VW50 home theater projector - the "Pearl". They do not offer a replacement program, or loaner. Ship it in, under warranty, they will repair it, and pay shipping back to you.

Most companies with projectors in this price range do offer 2 years, parts and labor, there are a few with three years, and a couple of companies - notably Panasonic and InFocus, with only a one year warranty.
