Sony VPL-FHZ55 Projector Review - Warranty

The VPL-FHZ55 has an excellent five-year parts and service warranty on the projector and a 12,000 hour warranty on the light source (which is rated at 20,000 hours). While that’s an excellent warranty, Sony also includes their On-Time Support coverage. The way it works is if the projector fails, you call a toll-free number for Sony’s product support department. If the issue can’t be resolved via the phone call, Sony will overnight a replacement projector to you. When the replacement unit arrives, you simply use the prepaid airway bill and packaging provided to send the defective projector back to Sony.
