The SIM2 Nero 3D-2 comes with a two year parts and labor warranty.
In most cases, high end projectors like the SIM2, are sold through dealers that also wrap your projector in a comprehensive support program. My one "rich" aquaintance (with a $60K+ projector), has such a program. As he might put it, if he's watching the first football game on a Sunday, and the lamp blows, or another problem occurs, he expects to be able to be able to catch the Sunday night game in his theater.
Whether that means a new lamp, a loaner projector, Blu-ray player, or some other part of the system, the support program he has, assures him of same day response. And that includes being up and running, if loaner gear is needed.
Well, the top 1%, I expect, keep the thousands of home theater specialists in business. And it also means I get to review some fine projectors.
The high end companies have done a great deal to move the home theater (projector) industry forward. In fact, Sam Runco, essentially invented the modern home theater projector.
