The Sanyo PLV-Z5 offers a better warranty than most manufacturers. It is 3 years parts and labor, from date of purchase. In addition, Sanyo will pay the freight to and from their service facility, saving you a few dozen extra dollars should a problem occur under warranty.

Sanyo's policy has also been to turn around units coming in for repair in 3 business days or less, whereas many others often take a week or two.

With most manufacturers offering either one year or two on their projectors, Sanyo's three year warranty and free freight, adds the to projector's overall price/performance value.
