Pros

  • Laser light engine rated at 20,000 life, means low maintenance
  • Sealed optical block and no air filter means low maintenance
  • Suitable for continuous 24/7 operation
  • Optional lenses are easily interchanged and allow for installation over a wide range of distances from screen
  • Wide range lens shift adjustments provide added mounting flexibility
  • Can be mounted at any orientation
  • High brightness combined with high resolution (WUXGA) makes this projector highly capable in large venues and in locations with relatively high ambient light levels
  • Extremely sharp image with any resolution source
  • Very good color balance with and even the brightest picture mode is very usable for many applications
  • Extensive support for multi-projector setups by offering support for edge blending, geometric corrections, color matching and brightness matching thus allowing for seamlessly images
  • DICOM simulation mode for medical educational/training purposes
  • Network support for projector management and control

 

Cons

  • Lacks wireless network support
  • 3X speed color wheel results in some color separation artifacts (i.e., Rainbow Effect) being occasionally visible
  • No rapid warranty replacement program offered
