Buyer Beware: Marantz is very clear about their warranty. They support their dealer base, and to prevent price erosion and sales by many online (and other) resellers who often know nothing about projectors, Marantz insists that you only deal with their direct authorized dealers.

To encourage you to do so, they make it simple. Buy from one of their dealers and get a 3 year warranty. Buy from a non-authorized (or de-authorized) dealer, and you are on your own. No warranty at all.

That pretty much says it all. Today most home theater projectors have one or two year warranties, a few offer three years. Marantz's warranty is 3 years parts and labor. That should give you some serious piece of mind.
