The warranty documentation that comes with the Acer K330 offers the standard (for projectors in this class), one year parts and labor warranty coverage for the projector, with a 90-day warranty on the lamp. I suspect that the 90-day warranty on the lamp is not applicable here as the LED light source is not replaceable. While a 90-day lamp warranty can be an issue with conventional lamps, the K330’s LED light source is rated at 20,000 hours, so it’s unlikely that it will be an issue for the life of the projector. Replacement lamps for most multimedia projectors can equal anywhere from a third to half the cost of the K330, so not having to replace the lamp can be an important cost savings for the potential buyer.
