AAXA P6X PORTABLE PICO PROJECTOR REVIEW

The AAXA P6X Pico projector is an 1100 LED lumen, HD (1280x800) Osram LED/DLP powered, highly portable business projector, capable of projecting up to a 160” image solely on battery power. It has an onboard media player to accommodate cord free presentations, is capable of up to 4 hours of operation, and can even charge your smart devices. The P6X will be replacing the P6 in the AAXA lineup. It has 3 times the battery life of the P6, a more powerful speaker, almost twice the brightness, and a larger projection size.

AAXA Technologies has specialized in small, portable “micro” or “Pico” projectors since 2008. Their products are intended for both entertainment and business purposes. Pricewise, the P6X is in about the middle of the AAXA projector lineup at a list price of $359. It is a bare-bones projector built for efficient use of its technology via sticking to strictly the essential functions required by users. It has an impressive battery life of up to 4 hours and can be used as a power bank to charge other devices. AAXA says it is “The world's brightest battery-powered projector”, and according to independent testing, it is 6 times brighter than other projectors in its class. The onboard media player and built-in speaker round out the P6X’s efficiency and portability maximizing features.

The AAXA P6X would be a great solution for many outdoor entertainment applications whether is in the backyard at a campsite. I can also see how it ultra-portability would be appealing to college students, military members, and salespeople who are always on the go.
